Rodney Gurley, Director of Bands
Mr. Gurley is in his 25th year of teaching and his 8th at MHS, he has previously held the position of Director of Bands at Idalou High School, Crosbyton High School, and Shallowater Middle School. Dave McCoun, Assistant Band Director
Mr. McCoun is in his 11th year of teaching and his 6th at MHS, he was the assistant band director at Floydada High School/Junior High and the Director of Bands at Dunbar College Preparatory Academy. Anthony Aguilar, MHS Feeder Pattern Percussion Coordinator
Mr. Aguilar is in his 6th year teaching and his 2nd at MHS, he taught 2 years in Lamesa, TX and 2 years in Slaton, TX. Mr. Aguilar works as a tour admin for The Guardians Drum & Bugle Corps.
